Travelogue #01: KL Callin'

Finally managed to hauled my ass out of Singapore and headed over to KL. Stayed at Park Royal, great space and funny dress codes. The hotel was also in close proximity to most of the major malls and despite being the CNY holidays, there were still shops opened, especially the major retailers. Experienced a little hiccup at the start of the journey, that is a big delay with the bus we were taking. We had no other choice but to wait because a lot of companies were fully booked out.

We had a great time nonetheless. One thing with KL was that, it wasn't hard to find a great place to dine in. We had delicious food all 3 days and I may have came back pounds heavier. For the first time ever, I enjoyed eating meat. T.G.I.Fridays did it! The shopping was really great, and I purchased my first pair of New Balance trainers at a steal! A lot of exciting purchases. Didn't manage to drop by cafés as planned.

There were also an abundant of fireworks and in KL it's a norm for every festive occasions. It was as near as 100m away from the place we ate our dinner. I literally could not eat in peace with all the mini heart attacks I get from the sudden loud blast of fireworks.

KL had so much to offer and sights to see. I'll be back for sure. And with that, I cross out one of my New Year resolutions from the short list.
