All black errrrrthang

Went against my self imposed rule of bright colors for gloomy days and went with an all black ensemble. Well you could say to fit the mood and the weather! I think this is the best weather one could wish for on weekends. Slept in till 12 noon and it was still dark and cold! Purrrrfection. I also realized that the entire December I had planned to wear cold weather clothes all of the weekends and it ended up being sunny. Like all of the weekends. So I had to dig around my drawers and find something light to wear.
AND THEN. When I had planned to wear something for a sunny day, it ended up raining the entire weekend. Oh the irony. You can only imagine what a mess my drawers are right now. Really the weather works in funny ways.

 Caught MAMA, my God, that show was depressing and scary. Little Victoria was too cute. But before that I had mud cakes from Black Bird Cafe, which I will show you in the next post.

One of the things that struck me this weekend was this article about Emily Wall on Brightest Young Things : "More is not always more, you know? And that might mean you shop less and invest in the clothes that are well made." And I'm putting that on my list of 2013 resolutions, which consisted of spending this year exploring cafes around Singapore, and getting out of this country at long last. There were a few more, but I can't remember!
