Finally coaxed forced the girls to go to Penny University with me! I think what made triggered it was that I saw a post on their Facebook that they had Chai, and then I am a big fan of Chai so naturally I had to go right?! Of course.
It was quite a bus ride to reach East Coast Rd, and I missed my stop altogether. I had to take another bus and walked a long walk to reach Penny U. You are a lucky bunch if you are staying in the East i.e. Tampines/Pasir Ris because there's a straight bus, look it up. I'd say the trip is worth it for the Chai, and Turkish Eggs. French toast too. The S'mores as you see on the pictures, is not what I'd call one of my favourites. I don't quite like it. The marshmellow has got a funny taste to it, but that's just me. The Turkish egss was delishhhh and when it first arrived, we thought it was/looked like the Middle Eastern dish called Sabsuka. But it's not and it taste great! It won't be something you are used to eating, but it's worth the try. Made with Turkish yogurt, some spices, olive oil and the poached eggs of course. And I pray to God it's olive oil because if it's not, my arteries won't like it. At all.
One last thing, for those who cannot appreciate a certain type of teas, or not an overall tea lover who would try anything and errrthaaang, don't try the French Chamomile. It has a bitter aftertaste and you won't like it.
Ok Bye! Go on have a great time at Penny U like I did!
