Went to Dempsey Hill after walking about Bugis. While walking around, I chanced upon a beautiful Tom Ford spectacle frames. And it costs a bomb. Specifically, $500 after a limited time discount. They were the perfect frames for me, nice size, nice design. Somehow I always find myself drawn to Tom Ford frames. Third time getting my heart broken by the price tag. Anyway, we needed to rest our legs and have a drink and just chill and not be sad......................
So we drove in rounds and finally settled on Dôme Café, after walking through Jones the Grocer. Jones has some what similar concept to Dean & Deluca. Gourmet food with groceries in one place. They had some peach/pear dessert, I am dying to try but that will have to wait another day. We had some Earl Grey with the finger food platter and also the cookies with gelato. God, I have such bad memory, I can't even remember the names. The Mango Shrimp Roll was delish, I am tempted to look up recipes, though I think I will just improvise again. Didn't like the cookies though, I ended up eating the vanilla gelato with the tea. So good.
