Gratitude

Paid a visit to D' Good Café at Holland Village. It was a good alternative to the usual cafés you see like Coffee Bean. Perfect for a quiet Monday afternoon. Or somber one. I'll let you have a visual tour of the cafè.

Personally, I loved the café. Good ambience, and good coffee. They do their own coffee roasting too. I'm sure coffee lovers can appreciate that. I had Hazelnut Iced Latte and the bf had some Affogato. I've always been a little but skeptical about trying Affogato. While I love the idea, I may not necessarily love the sharp taste of espresso. But it was alright I guess. We had waffles too, and I thought they gave generous portions of maple syrup. At least to me, since I don't like too sweet desserts. There were three settings you could have your coffee at, Al Fresco, which is on the same floor as this casual indoor seating, they have rocking horse for your kids too, also there is another seating indoor very close by the counter. This is myself serve I suppose, so you have to make the order at the counter first. The owner was a lovely lady, very friendly. Didn't catch her name though.

If you have time, do visit this café, pretty sure you'll love it as much as I do. Oh, they serve TWG teas too if I recall. All the photos are taken by trusty iPhone 4. I seriously underestimated the quality of it's camera. Some of the pictures are quite sharp/crisp.

P.S. There may be a drought of outfit posts, I won't disclose why because it is personal to me. I am just praying for the best of things in this situation.
